, and sad to say but it was just ok. I was excited because of his recent success working with timbaland, BoB and others not to mention his made to be a wedding song single, "Just The Way You Are." On the Initial Listen I had already deleted 3 out of 10 songs that were on the album, just because they were lame or crude. On second listen I removed 2 more from my collection. Don't get me wrong there are some great songs, but the CD as a whole was very lacking. If you liked "Just the way you are" then you will like "Marry You" and "Count On Me." and I was very pleasantly surprised with the more rock sounding "Grenades" "Our First Time" "The Lazy Song" and "Liquor Store Blues" Were complete artistic dissapointments, also, "Runaway Baby" sounded like a remake of about 5 different Maroon 5 Songs possibly Covered from another band that covered Maroon 5... In other words, we've all heard this one before, a number of times. It's not bad, just recycled. I'd have to give the album as a whole a 5/10. Too Bad, I'm sure he could've done a lot better, I blame producers. Don't ask why, but someones gotta be the scapegoat.

Doo-Wops and Hooligans - Bruno Mars Review
So, just listened to the new Bruno Mars album, Doo - Wops & Hooligans

Invented - Jimmy Eat World Review
Invented
On first Listen, I was disappointed, I didn’t hear anything that really stood out to me, It was different, slow haunting, but not what I expected. To be honest nothing has really ever been as good as Bleed American or Futures for me, musically as well as lyrically. After a while the CD, does begin to grow on you, which disappointed me because I was always impressed with Jimmy Eat World’s ability to grab you from the get go. There are some great songs: Movielike grabs you with Jim’s Vocals and his great lyrics that we’ve all come to love, Littlething is another song that will be a favourite, bringing together ballad formations that haven’t been heard since Hear You Me and Kill. You’ll deffinately hear this song on a romantic comedy within a year. I was also let down because usually the first single is a great song, but blown away by the rest of the album, However My Best Theory is one of the Best songs on the album, and other songs like Invented and Mixtape, are a complete loss of empty lyrics floating in a trouble melodic sea. Still better than Static Prevails, but not much. There are some amazing songs, some that are being added to my top favourites, and like I said it’s still growing on me, but this album is nothing compared to Bleed American or Futures. Jimmy Eat World Shows that they can still do it, but that they maybe need to take a little more time between albums to make sure they get the best quality they can. Probably because I have a soft spot for Jimmy, cuz their still the greatest band, I'm giving this one an 8/10.

Stabilo Anyone?
Hey everyone out there...An interesting start out for my blog I know, I'm going to eventually be using this to showcase some of my talents music photography etc. but I'd like to ask anyone out there... What happened to Stabilo. If your from Vancouver or just love good music then you probably know what I'm talking about. One of the most classic and raw bands out there, each song feels like an improve, yet too perfect to be that. They pretty much disappeared as of 2008 and I miss their Rare sound!!
CD's Inlcude:
Happiness And Disaster
Cupid?
Stabilo Boss
