Doo-Wops and Hooligans - Bruno Mars Review

So, just listened to the new Bruno Mars album, Doo - Wops & Hooligans
, and sad to say but it was just ok. I was excited because of his recent success working with timbaland, BoB and others not to mention his made to be a wedding song single, "Just The Way You Are." On the Initial Listen I had already deleted 3 out of 10 songs that were on the album, just because they were lame or crude. On second listen I removed 2 more from my collection. Don't get me wrong there are some great songs, but the CD as a whole was very lacking. If you liked "Just the way you are" then you will like "Marry You" and "Count On Me." and I was very pleasantly surprised with the more rock sounding "Grenades" "Our First Time" "The Lazy Song" and "Liquor Store Blues" Were complete artistic dissapointments, also, "Runaway Baby" sounded like a remake of about 5 different Maroon 5 Songs possibly Covered from another band that covered Maroon 5... In other words, we've all heard this one before, a number of times. It's not bad, just recycled. I'd have to give the album as a whole a 5/10. Too Bad, I'm sure he could've done a lot better, I blame producers. Don't ask why, but someones gotta be the scapegoat.
